We have all seen the images of women and children being forced to leave Ukraine because of the brutal invasion and unprovoked war started by Russia. It is hard to imagine having your home destroyed and needing to leave the country without knowing what the future might hold. Still, we have seen that the Ukraine people are resilient and most certainly entrepreneurial.
We are learning from many Ukrainians that what is often needed is assistance in getting new contracts for work that can be done remotely or for loan capital to begin a business that in most cases is with a local partner. These Ukrainian refugees are creating local economic opportunities. Within Ukraine and even outside of the country there is still the need for emergency relief. Impact Bridges Group is still very much involved in providing emergency relief in the area of Lviv (see details below), but we are also working with entrepreneurial Ukrainians and others who are finding innovative means to improve their lives, as well as others.
